I made this score for Knifejaw, a game being made by my friend Quinn. The demo takes place in a cave (hence all the reverb haha) after Katt, the lady with the wings, is warped off stage by some unknown force while performing with her band, All Television Is Real. Now it's up to her trusty pup to find her!

The tracks go somewhat linearly through what the game demo itself will be, starting with Katt being sucked away, exploring the cave, battling, finding a town, fighting a big ol boss, and a foreboding cutscene. And then a credits song long enough to list an entire Triple A gamedev staff for this little RPG that, to my knowledge, currently has a crew of three people including me.

I've been working on this off and on since July of last year. Most of the time that I spend listening to music is spent with video game scores, so this EP is both a long time coming and a little daunting. I hope my hours of study paid off.

The first and last track are songs by All Television Is Real. Quinn wanted it to sound like the singing in the opera scene from Final Fantasy VI (aka one of the best parts of one of my favorite games). But I am thinking of doing another EP of All Television Is Real songs, with the lyrics sung by some pals. Perhaps in conjunction with the actual release of the demo. We shall see. But until then: please enjoy this one!
